My first peformance was for MGL& AGRFT concert in Kino Šiška, where I sang Respect by Aretha Franklin and New Attitude by Patti Labelle. “ It was intense. I rembember I was waiting to be called next and my knees were shaking. I heard my name, all the shivers ran up my spine and I aligned myself. I can’t remember details, but sure I can rembember the energy. ”

Next performance was at the Slovenian Film Festival in 2019, where I sang a song Mambo Cubano from known slovenian film Don’t wait for May.

Now I am mostly collaborating with Jacuzzy Krall and Greg Even, where we collaborate with Buda (Elvis Jaskson) and here is the song: Life is an audition. Jah Mood On Je collective is the “consequence” of our first collaboration, where there is many reggae musicians:

Mate Brodar – Bro: vocal

David Kovšca (Buda): vocal

Lea Cok: vocal, actress

Gregor Treven (Greg Even): production

Jacuzzy Krall: vocal

Dorotea Nikolić (Stenlisha): vocal

Tadej Tratnik (Tadiman): vocal

Igor Šon  (Haris Pilton): production, vocal

Our moto is:  “ One love & good vibes!” ❤️ & ✌️

Collaborating with Greg Even led to the creation of the song “Unavoidable Void,” which came to life on a rainy Sunday in Cerkno. I had driven there on the day of recording (for those familiar with the road , thank you for your understanding), all while dealing with a severe menstrual cycle and without a complete piece written. The lyrics were unfolding during the recording, creating a unique experience. I knew only one thing for certain: the theme was the “unavoidable void,” and it felt powerful. Only with emptiness can something newer, different emerge. I even listened to the instrumental on repeat throughout the entire journey to Cerkno, captivated by its essence.

Enjoy!
